We respect your data
We appreciate your interest in our website. The trust of all visitors and customers, the security of your data and the protection of your privacy are of paramount importance to us. We therefore process your personal data in accordance with the applicable statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Personal data is information that can be used to identify you, such as your real name, your address or your telephone number. When you view and use our website without registering or otherwise expressly providing us with information, we process the data transmitted to us with every request from your browser (see ‘Log data’ below). Where you expressly provide us with personal data (e.g. via our contact form), this is done solely for the purpose of the enquiry or the relevant order. Please note that data transmission over the internet can never be completely protected against access by third parties.
Below, we would like to explain in more detail what data we process, when and for what purpose. We explain how the services we offer work and how the protection of your personal data is ensured in this context.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
Where we obtain the data subject’s consent for the processing of personal data, Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Where the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.
This also applies to processing operations necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
Where the processing of personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Where the processing of personal data is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person, Article 6(1)(d) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Where processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override the former interest, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing.
Data erasure and retention period
The data subject’s personal data shall be erased as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies.
Data may also be retained if this is provided for by European or national laws or other regulations to which the controller is subject. The data will also be blocked or erased when a retention period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations expires, unless there is a need to continue storing the data for the conclusion or performance of a contract.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain, free of charge, information about the personal data we hold about you, as well as, where applicable, the right to rectification, restriction of processing or erasure of this data. You also have the right to data portability. Finally, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data. We would also like to point out that you may object at any time to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the legal requirements set out in Article 21 of the GDPR. In particular, you may object to processing for the purposes of direct marketing.
Provision of Information
If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or if you require information, wish to request the rectification, restriction or erasure of data, wish to withdraw any consent previously given, or wish to object to a specific use of your data, please contact us using the following email address: achim@personal-empowerment-training.com
Log data
The automatic collection and storage of log data by the internet service provider takes place because the processing of this data is technically necessary to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security. The log data comprises the following information: date and time of the respective request; the internet address (URL) that was requested; the URL that the visitor accessed immediately beforehand.
Browser and language used
Operating system used and its user interface
Visitor’s IP address and hostname
Access status / HTTP status code
Amount of data transferred in each instance
This data is transmitted to us automatically and cannot be linked to you as an individual without disproportionate effort. The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR, as this data processing is necessary for the operation and display of the website. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of data collected for the purpose of providing the website, this is the case once the relevant session has ended. The collection of data for the purpose of providing the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely essential for the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no right to object.
Cookies
To make your visit to our website more engaging and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device and which store specific information for exchange with our system. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR. Some of the cookies we use are deleted once the browser session ends, i.e. when you close your browser (transient cookies). These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a unique identifier (session ID). This session ID enables various requests from your browser to be assigned to a single session. This allows your device to be recognised if you return to our website during a session. Session cookies are also deleted when you log out.
Other cookies remain on your device for a specified period and enable us to recognise your browser or device the next time you visit (persistent cookies). If you log in to your user account on our website and select the ‘stay logged in’ option, we use persistent cookies to recognise your device the next time you visit, even after you have closed your browser. You will then not need to log in again.
“Please note that certain cookies are set as soon as you access our website. You can configure your browser so that you are notified when cookies are set and can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept them, or you can block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases – in particular third-party cookies – or generally. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited for you.

All details entered are stored by us and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiries. In addition, your IP address and the date and time of registration are stored. Comments
If you leave a comment on our website, the following data will be stored in connection with this:

YouTube
Our website uses YouTube features. When you visit our site, a connection is established with YouTube’s servers – but only after you have clicked on a video. In doing so, information about which of our pages you have visited is transmitted to the YouTube server. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to link your user behaviour directly to your personal YouTube profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. The data collected by YouTube is transferred to the USA, which is regarded under the GDPR as a third country with an inadequate level of data protection. We have no knowledge of the further processing or the duration of storage. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Further information on YouTube’s handling of user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

System and information security
We protect our website and our other systems against the loss, destruction, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure of stored data by unauthorised persons through technical and organisational measures. However, despite these controls, complete protection against all risks is not possible. Simply by virtue of the connection to the internet and the resulting technical possibilities, no guarantee can be given that content and the flow of information will not be viewed or recorded by third parties.
Objection to unsolicited advertising by email
In accordance with the legal requirement to provide an imprint under Section 5 of the German Data Protection Act (DDG), we have published general contact details and an email address on our website. We hereby object to the use of these contact details for the unsolicited sending of information materials, advertising or spam emails that we have not explicitly requested.
